Gortadroma Facility Views

The Gasification Waste to Energy Power Plant to be built at Gortadroma has been designed to be the cleanest, most efficient and safest means possible for thermally converting solid waste to renewable electrical energy. The Facility will be comprised of four gasifying kilns, capable of producing a combined 50 MW of electrical power. It is anticipated that the average power output will be approximately 40 MW.
The rendering above shows the major Facility components, including the tipping floor and waste sorting area, fuel preparation and storage area, office building and control room, the gasifier lines with the heat recovery steam generators and extensive flue gas clean-up train, the power house cooling towers, electrical switchyard, maintenance shop

The image above shows the Facility as it will appear from the nearest road before the visual barrier is installed. Trees will eventually block the view of the plant from the road.
